Throughout these Terms:
“EVIS”, “we”, “us”, “our” refer to Taurus Brown Sdn Bhd
“Customer”, “you”, “your” refer to any person or entity accessing this website or purchasing from EVIS
2. SCOPE & ACCEPTANCE
These Terms govern:

All orders, purchases, and transactions made globally
All related services, content, and communications
By accessing this website or placing an order, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
You agree to be bound by these Terms regardless of your country of residence

3. ELIGIBILITY & LEGAL CAPACITY
By using this website or placing an order, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
You have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
If acting on behalf of a company, you have authority to bind that entity
EVIS reserves the right to cancel orders where these representations are untrue.
4. INTERNATIONAL SALES NOTICE
EVIS sells and ships products internationally from Malaysia.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and agree that:
Your transaction is governed primarily by Malaysian law
Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country may apply only to the extent they cannot be excluded
EVIS does not represent that its products comply with all local laws, standards, or regulations outside Malaysia
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION & AVAILABILITY
All product descriptions, images, specifications, dimensions, and colours are provided for general reference only.
While reasonable care is taken, EVIS does not guarantee absolute accuracy due to:
Display differences across devices
Ongoing product improvements
Manufacturing tolerances
Products are subject to availability, and EVIS reserves the right to:
Limit quantities
Refuse or cancel orders
Modify or discontinue products without prior notice
6. PRICING, PAYMENTS & ERRORS
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website and may change without notice.
EVIS reserves the right to:
Correct pricing or typographical errors
Cancel orders affected by such errors and issue refunds
Orders are processed only after full payment is received.
7. ORDERS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUSAL OF SERVICE
EVIS may, at its sole discretion:
Refuse or cancel any order
Limit quantities per customer, household, or order
Cancel orders suspected to be fraudulent, abusive, or placed for resale without authorisation
- EVIS products are sold for end-user use unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorised resale may result in order cancellation and warranty restriction where permitted by law.
Where possible, EVIS will notify customers using the contact details provided.
You agree not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first contacting EVIS and providing a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. EVIS reserves the right to provide order, delivery, and communications records to payment providers to respond to disputes.
E-invoicing
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all billing details provided at checkout are accurate, complete, and final.
Requests to amend billing information, including company name, registration number, tax identification number, or billing address, must be submitted within three (3) calendar days from the date the order is placed.
Billing amendments requested after the 3-day period may require invoice cancellation, re-issuance, or credit note processing in accordance with LHDN e-Invoicing requirements, and will be subject to an administrative fee of RM100 per request.
EVIS reserves the right to reject amendment requests where invoicing has already been finalised or submitted under applicable tax regulations.
Customers requiring an e-Invoice must notify EVIS by emailing support@evis.com.my within the 3-day period.
EVIS shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from late, incomplete, or incorrect billing information provided by the customer.
8. SHIPPING, DELIVERY & RISK TRANSFER (GLOBAL)
Delivery timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.
For all orders worldwide:
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the product is handed to the carrier, courier, or freight forwarder
EVIS is not responsible for delays, losses, or damage caused by third-party logistics providers
Title or ownership to products passes upon full payment (or upon dispatch), while risk passes upon handover to the carrier, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES (INTERNATIONAL)
International orders may be subject to:
Import duties
Customs clearance fees
VAT, GST, or other local taxes
All such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
EVIS shall not be liable for:
Customs delays
Refused or seized shipments
Additional costs imposed by destination authorities
10. PRODUCT USE, INSTALLATION & SAFETY
Products are intended for normal, intended use only.
EVIS shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
Improper use or misuse
Unauthorised modification or repair
Incorrect installation
Failure to follow instructions or safety guidelines
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and compliant use in their local environment.
11. WARRANTIES & CONSUMER RIGHTS
Warranty, returns, and exchanges are governed by EVIS’s published Warranty Policy and Return Policy, which form part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws, including the Malaysia Consumer Protection Act 1999, where applicable.
If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any policy page (including Warranty, Refund & Exchange, Shipping & Delivery, and Privacy), these Terms shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
EVIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business, data, or goodwill
EVIS’s total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim
13. INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EVIS, Taurus Brown Sdn Bhd, and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:
Your breach of these Terms
Misuse of products
Violation of any law or third-party rights
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, trademarks, product designs, images, videos, and materials are the exclusive property of Taurus Brown Sdn Bhd.
Unauthorised use, reproduction, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited.
15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & TOOLS
Third-party tools or services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
EVIS makes no warranties and accepts no liability for third-party platforms, payment gateways, or logistics providers.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
EVIS shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Pandemics
Supply chain disruptions
Government actions
Labour disputes
Power or network failures
17. TERMINATION
EVIS may suspend or terminate access to the website or services at any time without notice if these Terms are breached.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. LANGUAGE
These Terms are drafted in English. In the event of any translation, the English version shall prevail.
20. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before commencing any legal action, you must provide EVIS written notice of the dispute and allow at least 14 days for resolution efforts.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.
