MOBILE APPLICATION PRIVACY POLICY

EVIS is committed to protecting the Personal Data of the users of EVIS’s mobile applications (“Apps”), and other online products and services that you access in relation to your use of the Apps (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy") applies to persons anywhere in the world who use our Services (“you”, “your” or “yours”). This Policy applies to your use of the Services and sets out how EVIS may collect, process and use your Personal Data which you may submit when using our Services and through other interactions and communications you have with us.

This Policy supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents you may have previously provided to EVIS in respect of your Personal Data.

EVIS may update this Policy from time to time, and your continued use of the Services following the notification or posting of these changes or modifications would constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications.

Generally, EVIS does not collect any Personal Data, either directly from you or from your authorised representatives (i.e. persons whom you have authorised, persons who have been validly identified as being you or your authorised representative pursuant to our then-current security procedures), from third parties, or from publicly available sources or through our Services.

If you permit the App to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system, we may also collect the precise location of your device when the app is running in the foreground or background. We request for location information because Android require Bluetooth APIs to access a user's location. This requires us to ask for location permissions through our Services. However, we do not use this data for anything other than to satisfy Android's requirements for Bluetooth access. Besides that, EVIS may request for nearby devices / Bluetooth access in order to scan and communicate with Bluetooth devices for us to connect and control the EVIS product(s).

When you interact with the Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our Services.

Without prejudice to the above Consent granted, you agree and acknowledge that EVIS may collect usage statistics from your EVIS products with the Apps to evaluate the frequency of use for EVIS's products. Such usage statistics will automatically be sent from the EVIS products to the Apps. Such usage statistics will be transmitted to EVIS's cloud server located in Singapore for data processing purposes whenever you connect to the Internet. You further agree to the sending of any error logs generated by the Apps to EVIS to facilitate the development of future updates to the Apps.
